Happiness means different things to different people. Ask a child and he or she will tell you it is a piece of candy. It probably is. Those are the years when we begin learning about this world we live in. We are introduced to new things every day, things that give us pleasure. They make us want them more because they make us happy.
But happiness from materialistic things doesn’t last forever. We are bound to get bored with it, grow out of it, and seek replacements. And one day, we will discard that toy, craving, etc. for something else. It is important to realize this.
