Just as darkness is overcome with the tool of light, fear is overcome with the tool of knowledge. Since knowledge is based on learning or experience, it is necessary to experience fear before one can overcome it.
He who knows no fear may make mistakes but he who has known fear and has overcome it, will not make mistakes. He will not be afraid.
We must not fear the bear living in the wild when the real fear lives in our heart. What lives inside our heart is a part of who we are. Once we accept this, we conquer our fears.
