A good life doesn’t end with old age or death. A good life is one that leaves the right legacy for others to enjoy. It also leaves behind guidelines based on experiences. These guidelines are what we pass down to younger generations. This has to be done in a controlled manner, keeping in mind their freedom. Their freedom covers their choices. Their decisions are based on their own experiences. Let the guidelines not turn into rules. Rules passed down from one generation to another stifle the independence of the younger generations. Let them be free. Let us be free too. Let us not limit our legacy to what was handed down to us. Let us make our own legacy with the most powerful tool we have—freedom. Let us modify what we have received, add to it, and then pass it on.
